The International 767 is Besson’s value proposition without a compromised basic architecture. It has a 14.98 mm large bore, 304 mm hand-made bell, and a proper 3+1 compensating valve set. Its lighter construction gives it the open feel and immediate response that make sense for an advancing player moving beyond a student horn.
The key comparison is the Sovereign 967. Their headline dimensions overlap, but the International is the simpler advanced-tier instrument while the Sovereign is the established professional workhorse. Buy the 767 for the playing fundamentals and value, not because its specification table appears to make the more expensive Besson irrelevant.
