Willson builds brass instruments in Flums, Switzerland. Its corporate material says each instrument’s parts are manufactured, assembled, and optimized by the company; its factory-tour page describes following the process in Flums from raw brass to a finished wind instrument. That direct evidence supports Swiss in-house attribution for the four traditional TA models catalogued here.
The TA range is not a simple size ladder. The 2727TA preserves a rare three-valve automatic-compensating layout. The 2900TA uses the compact 290 mm platform that established the modern Willson professional sound, while the 2950TA and 2960TA move to 310 mm bells with different approaches to response and mass.
The WEUQ90 remains a separate evidence case. Willson markets it under “Willson Music” and publishes a complete musical specification, but the product page does not state its manufacturing country or substantiate the reported Eastman relationship. It therefore remains under review rather than inheriting the TA line’s Swiss origin.
