Jovita Kasperavičiūtė is a young Lithuanian euphonium soloist who has become one of the instrument’s most-watched emerging voices online. She began music at eight and took up the euphonium in 2015 under her first teacher, Jurgis Dapšauskas, whom she credits — along with Steven Mead — as a formative inspiration. She studies at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius.
Since 2022 she has shared practice sessions and performances on Instagram (@jovitakasper_euph), where brass players have taken note of her technical ease and expressive freedom. She performs across a wide range of settings — symphony, wind, and fanfare orchestras, big bands, and brass bands — and in 2024 appeared as a soloist with the M. K. Čiurlionis school symphony orchestra and helped her brass band, Brass LT, win its section at the European Brass Band Championship. She is a junior artist for AR Resonance.
